Welcome to family Witton – Private Rooms in Essen-Steele!
We offer cozy accommodations for 1 to 7 people in a quiet side street – within walking distance to Steeler City and the S-Bahn station.
Ideal for conference guests, family visits, or Ruhr region explorers.
We offer a spacious 3-room apartment with 68 m² of living space, located in a quiet two-family house on a peaceful side street.
The apartment includes:
- Bedroom (16 m²) with three beds, wardrobe, and additional furnishings
- Living room (24 m²) with a large double couch and an additional double sofa bed
- Hallway, bathroom with corner bathtub and round shower
- Large kitchen-diner (13 m²) with access to a 7.5 m² balcony offering a beautiful, unobstructed view of the surrounding gardens All rooms are fully and comfortably furnished. The equipment includes a stereo system, books, and board games.
Living areas feature laminate flooring, while the bathroom is tiled.
Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment, but of course allowed on the balcony.
Satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and an Ethernet connection are available free of charge.
- Since there is also a separate 1-room apartment on the same floor with its own bathroom (shower/WC), single kitchen, double sofa bed, and single bed, accommodation for up to 7 guests is possible if required.
Additional amenities:
Intercom with own doorbell*, dishwasher*, mini pizza oven*, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, dishes, pots, and much more.

Despite rising energy costs, we're pleased to keep our attractive rates unchanged for you!
For the sake of our planet and climate protection, we kindly encourage mindful use of heating and appliances to minimize energy waste. Your cooperation means a lot!
Our Prices (valid from 01.08.2025, plus 5% accommodation tax per guest):
Guest Apartment:
€50 per night for up to 2 persons*, +€25 per additional person/night* (max. 5 persons).
1-Room Apartment:
€35 per night for 1 person*, €50 per night for 2 persons*.
Additional Notes:
For bookings of just one night, a €15 surcharge applies due to increased preparation effort.
Included: self-service Coffee/tea, bed linen, towels, toilet paper, and final cleaning.
Trade fair/convention rates are not offered.
*The agreed prices include all taxes and local charges applicable at the time of booking. Not included are local taxes or fees that, according to municipal law, are payable directly by the guest — such as a bed tax.
Since August 1, 2025, the city of Essen has introduced an accommodation tax for paid overnight stays in hotels, vacation apartments, guesthouses, and similar accommodations.
The tax is collected by the accommodation provider and remitted to the city of Essen.
The tax amounts to five percent of the overnight costs, per guest.
